Yuidoku Performances!

Hey there SweetSians. This is a bulky update so bear with me here.

There is finally some more footage of Mai’s new group, Yuidoku! They’ve gotten quite a setlist of songs. Yuigadokuson is very within the idol indie genre, so remember that as you go to listen to them.

This is a nice quality video from Tokyo Idol Festival over the summer! The girls perform Wow,LaLaLa! ~Yuigadokuson no TEEMA~. I don’t think this is their best performance (the girls all sound kind of out of breath and shaky) but the clearer video/audio quality is nice to have.

This s a pretty good performance from September 8 that lasts about 25 minutes, so listen if you have time! Remember that Mai was posting about having a Grow into shinin’ stars cover…? It’s here. It’s actually sort of touching to watch Mai perform it, because you can see what a blast she’s having and how much the song means to her. It actually kind makes me emotional hearing her sound so happy while singing! I really like Mirai wa kuru kara, but for some reason their two weakest singers are the primary vocalists… Such a shame. The set list is as follows:
00:18 Run!!!!
04:30 未来は来るから (Mirai wa kuru kara)
08:48 grow into shinin’ stars
15:03 泡夏!!!! (Awanatsu!!!!)
19:13 Wow,ラララ!〜ユイガドクソンのテーマ〜

This next performance has 2 parts:

This performance is from October 12 and has a little easter egg… Yuidoku performing Mienai Tsubasa!! Since this website used to be under the name of Mienai Tsubasa, you can all imagine how much I love that song. The setlist:
First video –
00:00 RUN!!!!
04:10 MC
05:10 泡夏!!!! (Awanatsu!!!!)
Second video –
00:00 ミエナイツバサ
04:40 MC
05:27 Wow,ラララ!〜ユイガドクソンのテーマ〜

So overall, Yuidoku continues to not be my cup of tea, but that’s just me. :) I am really happy to see Mai so happy and following her dreams. I’ll probably keep following them more than I intend to because she was always my favorite back in the SweetS days! Mai’s vocals are so much stronger now, too. It is clear she has really worked hard to get back into performing. Nonami is also a pretty good vocalist! Sakura and Yuho are the two weaker ones. I hope they get training to improve to make Yuidoku a really powerful group.
